The Gargoyles reviews will be delayed for maybe another week, since I just now ordered the DVDs and I'm waiting for them to be shipped. Amazon has Season 2 Volume 1 for $13.29, plus shipping, which is more than reasonable.
Volume 2, on the other hand? $47.39.
Look, I love Gargoyles, and I realize it apparently took years to even get a Volume 2, and I don't begrudge anyone the chance to complete their DVD collections (I'm a completist myself), but goddamn. I can't afford that. So after "Monsters" I'll be back to youtube-ing it.
As part of the Disney Movie Club, I can get S2V2 for $23.90 including shipping, and I am quite willing to send you a copy, if you're willing to provide me with an address to which to send it.

ReplyDeleteAlso it's not really even a matter of just completing the DVD collection that makes it worthwhile, but that the DVDs are the only way to see the series uncensored.
Infact one such episode has an edit which makes a particular discussion a bit confusing. I'll get back to you on that when you review it.
